Camp David Accords
http://www.archives.gov/publications/prologue/2008/winter/camp-david.html
The Camp David Accords was an Egypt-Israeli peace agreementmediated by the United States and President Carter in 1979. This resolution was the first successfully established peace between Israel and Egypt. Israelis withdrew from the Sinai Peninsula, that was policed by United Nations and the United States, to improve diplomatic and economic relations between the countries and provide for free passage through international waterways. Although the Camp David Accords sought to establish peace, it failed to address key points such as: the situation of the West Bank and Gaza, Jerusalem, Arab League rejects, and other Palestinian issues. The Camp David Accords concluded by giving sole power and advantage to Israel and ignoring to resolve Palestinian issues.
